Game Monetisation Design: Online Masterclass

Learn the design principles behind finding the value for players in your game and how to translate that into an effective and sustainable commercial model for your game. This training program will help you understand when to use pay-up-front or in-game models and the best ways to think about whether ads, in-app purchases, or seasonal offers are the best option for your game.
Attendees will explore the theoretical principles behind what motivates players to want to play and pay. They apply this to a game concept of their chosing and then present their proposals for peer and expert review. This ensures an effective learning experience that lets participants demonstrate their level of understanding, and ability to apply these principles in practice.
Approach
A 3 hour hands-on interactive masterclass, which employs the very game design principles we are teaching, by setting specific challenges that are worked through in small groups, then creating instant feedback through peer and expert review. Maximum 36 attendees. Online or in person.
Audience
No pre-requisite knowledge required but some understanding of the concept recommended.
